Sharon Barker has dedicated over 30 years to working with students, families, and educators, firmly believing that with the right support, all three groups can achieve their personal best. As a Program Specialist with Expanded Learning Opportunities, she leverages this belief to help after-school programs develop enriching environments that support continuous learning beyond the regular school day. Her commitment to early childhood education is evident in her long-standing involvement with the Long Beach Early Childhood Education Committee. Now serving as co-secretary on the board, Sharon is enthusiastic about applying her expertise and passion to advance the committee’s mission.
