Each year, the Community Engagement workgroup of the Long Beach Early Childhood Education Committee host an Early Learning Festival where families can learn how to support their child’s early development and how to make informed decisions about their children’s care and education. The festival includes a series of workshops that provide parents and caregivers information on how to support their children’s early math, language/literacy, and social emotional development at home.
This year, The LB ECE Committee is partnering with Long Beach Public Library and the City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services’ ECE Program to host the 2020 Virtual Early Learning Festival.
The 2020 Virtual Early Learning Festival includes:
Educational Videos in English, Spanish, ASL that demonstrate how to support early language, math, and social emotional development. Available starting December 1, 2020.

Resource packets with information about local free and/or low-cost resources to help little ones thrive. Resource packets are available at the following library locations during LBPL To Go pick up hours: Billie Jean King Main Library, Harte Library, Los Altos Library, Mark Twain Library, Michelle Obama Library.
